Catholic Charities is celebrating a Century of Hope with a Centennial Week of Service event from April 9-13. This week will include opportunities to support the many individuals we serve across Cook and Lake County.

Monday: Feed the Hungry

Donate: Food to food pantries across Lake and Cook Counties
Get Involved: Volunteer with Meals on Wheels in Lake County, Northern Cook County, or Southern Cook County

Tuesday: Clothe the Naked

Donate: Socks and undergarments for homeless individuals, or baby clothes, diapers and other necessities for expecting mothers in our shelters
Get Involved: Attend ENCORE or Lake County's Dine Out/Meals In event

Wednesday: Shelter the Homeless

Donate: Ventra card or other items for Blessing Bags
Get Involved: Volunteer with Beyond Suppers for the Needy

Thursday: Welcome the Newcomer

Donate: Bilingual (Spanish/English) children's books
Get Involved: Become a youth mentor in Back of the Yards or Waukegan

Friday: Visit the Lonely

Donate: Purchase or create cards for seniors or our LOSS (Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide) program
Get Involved: Attend the LOSS brunch

Saturday: Give Alms to the Poor

Donate to support the programs of Catholic Charities
